For the first time in Malaysia, Jang-Seung Eouri Art Troupe from Seoul, South Korea will be showcasing the Korea Cultural Art Performance at MAS Academy Auditorium Kelana Jaya, Selangor on Sunday 15 May 2011 from 2pm to 4pm. The troupe comprise of ten members, specially flown in from Korea who specializes in various traditional, folk & cultural dance. Among the highlights for this event are Yeong San Jae (a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage & Korea National Treasure) which includes the famous Bopgo - Drum Dance and Bara Jakbeop – Cymbal Dance. Traditional Korean Dance s such as Salpuri – centuries old Mudang rite, Yangban-Chum – Aristocrat Dance & Ipchum – standing feminine dance are among the many rich cultural heritage of Korea which the troupe will be performing. To add variety and excitement to the two hour show, a musical presentation of famous tunes from popular Korean Soap Drama such as Winter Sonata, Jewel in Palace (Dae Jang Gum) & much more will be presented LIVE. To top it off, Nanta, Korea longest running show performed in 18 countries will have your feet tapping & fingers snapping.
